Default Rear Bumper Support Removal Q

noticed a small rattle coming from my rear bumper so I took the plunge to remove it...

I'm stuck now and not sure how to remove the rear bumper supports...
I can't access the 10mm Allen bolts because there is an aluminum sheet hanging right above it...

I tried removing this sheet but they are attached via screws that come in from inside the engine well...

I've looked at the pcarworkshops.com sites pictorial but I'm not sure how to remove these...

in the second picture the screws are pointed by the RED arrow...

thanks

the piece you are showing , mounted with the red arrow bolts, is mounted upside down in the picture
remove it by inserting an 8mm socket where the red arrow points.
These are T nuts that you think are not, but they are nuts.
If you could source the new version of these nuts is better, because the ones you have rust a lot, and the new ones are from aluminum
After you remove the flat heatshield, remove the two allen bolts (blue arrow) and pull aluminum bump support out

I found the rattling noise....it is coming from the bumper support...
I tightened the Allen bolts firmly onto the bumper shocks but the bumper support frame still wiggles a bit....is this normal?

No first hand knowledge, but it doesn't sound right. Might be worth taking the Allen bolts out, remove the support, to get a closer inspection of what might be wrong.

I figured it out...thot I had completely twisted in the Allen bolts...but there was still some room/space between the bumper support frame and the head of the bolts, thus causing the rattles...

you really have to turn the bolts into the bumper shocks....
