Cem-- That means much, considering the source
...an eye for art, your passion to boldly transform your C4S into a jaw-dropping GT2, & then drive it - internationally.
BTW, when will it be in the States?
Much appreciated: definitely an investment of time to share these, but well worth it with words like yours.
Hopefully I've communicated a fraction of the automotive amazement offered during Car Week.
It's a non-stop time of enjoyable excess of friendly folks with shared interests

"Excess in moderation"
EBD-- A great quote I learned from you:
"Excess on occasion is exhilarating. It prevents moderation from acquiring the deadening effect of a habit."
Can't wait 'til our paths cross for an occasion of 993 exhilaration
In the meantime: more Monterey!
What better way than the 918 Spyder, with a prime parking spot by Pebble Beach's concept car showcase...

Lamborghini Veneno
In the year of its 50th anniversary Automobili Lamborghini presented an extremely exclusive model at Pebble Beach. Only three unique units of the Veneno will be built and sold. Its design is consistently focused on optimum aerodynamics and cornering stability, giving the Veneno the real dynamic experience of a racing prototype, yet it is fully homologated for the road. With a maximum output of 552 kW / 750 hp, the Veneno accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and the top speed for this street-legal racing car stands at 355 km/h.
It is priced at three million Euros plus tax – and all three units have already been sold to customers. More on Lambo's T-tailed Veneno.

We'll get back to it later, but take a guess for now:
What's the manufacturer / marque of this sedan?

Rolls-Royce Wraith
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars proudly presents the world debut of Wraith, the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history. At its heart lie hallmark Rolls-Royce attributes of luxury, refinement and hand-craftsmanship, but the new model from the world’s pinnacle super-luxury marque also presents a unique character defined by power, style and drama. With just a hint of the noir.
In case you're confusing this with evil spirits from Harry Potter stories, read more on the Wraith.

Speaking of menacing presence, this beast is the Laraki Epitome.
At the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Laraki Designs from California unveiled their Epitome supercar based on a Corvette C6 chassis. They hope to build these in a small batch. The $2,000,000 price tag will likely help keep the numbers very low.

My pleasure, man
Scott-- 1 high-tier right coast event I LUV is the Amelia Island Concours. In its own way, it's a slice of Monterey's auto mania. Check out my 2009 photo thread.
Here's a cool RL thread this time last year for 2013's event.
This year's Concours just finished up.
Simply seeing the Porsches in this year's parking garage was notetworthy enough for this enthuisiast's written account with pics: PDF document.
Classics driving out to the field:
