Default PPI for a 997.2 Near Fredericksburg, VA?

I'm curious if someone can recommend an Independent Porsche shop near Fredericksburg, VA to provide me with a PPI for a 97.2 that I'm considering purchasing???

Many thanks in advance!!!

You could take it up to Chapman Autowerks in Sterling but that's a solid hour away at least.

Lufteknic in Richmond is under an hour, great shop. I'm in Richmond, let me know if I can help.

Thanks David! Lufteknic were also recommended elsewhere and they do look like a great choice and will provide a comprehensive PPI.

Thanks also for the offer to assist: the 911 is in Fredericksburg (perhaps out of your way?) and I just need to noodle this a couple of days to determine if I want to move forward.

I suspect the primary sticking point is whether I've made up my mind to keep my '80 SC and add a 997.2 (or a 2012 Cayman R) to the garage or sell the SC and get a 993.

If you don't mind, I'll send you a PM after I make a decision.

Cheers,
David

Let me know what you decide. I happen to have an '87 911, a 993 (mostly track) and a 996 (me semi-daily and wife track). I really like them all and they all have their place. SC and 997 would be a good combo in my opinion.

Might want to post on the VA site dorkiphus. Lots of good options there.

Yup, me too but I sometimes waver and think that just one P-car (a 993) would be more than adequate...decisions, decisions...

Thanks Harold! Nice to see a regional Porsche board with such a large knowledge-base.

Yes a best option if that works.

FWIW I would keep that nice looking Targa there and go with the Cayman!! I know I may get flamed for that on this forum, but I love those old Targas, and that Cayman R rocks!!

Dan, thanks for the thoughts! I expect to keep the Targa and while the Cayman R would be very nice to own, I suspect that if I want to keep the Targa and keep SWMBO (SheWhoMustBeObeyed) happy, a 2010 C4S may just be the ticket.
