Looks like a cocaine-fueled mating of a 993 with a 997.2. This is another pro argument for staying period correct with a 993.

I guess I am the first to say that I don't mind it.

Not to own, but there are certain parts of it that I find pretty slick and well executed.

Why is it that people have this tendency to bastardize their cars to the point that the original identity is completely lost; is it all a quest to be different, or just plain bad taste to begin with ?
Lack of appreciation of the marque's history and evolution certainly plays a big part, this particular owner was obviously confused and it shows in his "masterpiece"
I suggest donating the car to charity after applying his skills to reverse engineer this monstrosity and rid us all of the eyesore
