It is Blood Orange, and this car is being offered for sale by Road Scholars. I do not know the asking price.

I thought Blood Orange was darker-more red.

I think the last production code for it was 018 in 1972/1973. Blood Orange is also called Tangerine by Porsche, just depends on the year. It has the most red in it than the other orange shades ... here's a website that shows the colors, codes by year, and if you pass your cursor over the 'eye' in each paint description, it shows a picture of a car in that color. '72/73 offered 3 different shades .. Blutorange, Signal Orange and Gulf Orange .. it's interesting to see how different they are.

Thanks JP! Also looked at the Road Scholars website and verified the 018 code. Sure is a good looking color!

^^^ Yes, it's one of my all time favorites .. it's very translucent in person .. almost looks like it's wet.
Here it is on a '71 S when the factory called it Tangerine. In 1958, they just called it 'orange' .. ..

That colour, in a NB C2 993 coupe, black interior with RS (pole position style buckets) seats, Speedlines OR MY02s, no aero kit of any kind.

Just a little daydream.

A little (or maybe a lot) off topic, but this one will be Blood Orange in about a month. it's not too bad buying a used car and saying " I can live with that color"; but it's hard to pic a color when you can pic from anything.
