The Seattle boys can comment - the border from I45 is certainly less than three hours, depending on traffic. The I5 bridge outage adds a bit of time, but its not too bad. The border can be from 5min to 1 hr, again depending on your timing. You are going opposite the usual traffic flow, so it should be less than 30 min, likely 10-15. From the border to my place is about 40 min.
Google maps says its 5hr 45min and 335 miles from Richland, and 2hr 30 min and 138 miles from Seattle to my place.
Cheers,
Mike

Northbound from the US, The temporary bridge is complete and opened as of today!! Take the exit immediately after the temporary bridge and top off your gas tanks at Costco or any of the stations there.
Continue onto Bellingham, tune into Vancouover 1130AM and listen for traffic reports on the 1's for border reports. Typically earlier a.m. border crossings are much shorter wait times <5 mins. seasoned travelers will take the Pacific or Truck Border crossing versus the more popular Peace Arch crossing at Blaine.
I've made trips from Seattle to Richmond/Vancouver in just less than 2 hours of straight driving with less than 5 min. at the border driving 10+ the speed limit, however allow 3 hours if you decide to stop off at the duty free store.
Once you cross the border, the speed limit is 100kph, fortunately I have found that the RCMP are really not out that often on Canada Highway 99 between the border into Vancouver, keep your radar detectors on though especially into Vancouver.

Sorry guys, looks like I'm out this year. It's my friends 40th B-day. There are a few of these this year for me. Why do they have to all happen on Porsche weekends?

Ok, so today is Thursday August 8th.
Is there anyone else attending MikeJ's gathering of fellow 993 owners this Saturday from south of the border??? I could head up Friday night after work or if a group of us want to drive up early Saturday morning we could do that. Post here and let me know otherwise see everyone up in Burnaby!
