Is the dealer the only place to obtain the original options list? I want to know if my car has the abd abs option

M224 is the automatic brake differential option (ABD) which includes a normal M220 LSD, 4 channel ABS as well as the ABD

This should be on the option code sticker under your hood.

I think a business plan has been hatched. If you can find VIN associated engine and gearbox serial numbers too, maybe retirement is in your near future.

But until then, what does a non-European VIN such as WPOAA2990SS322966 show?

Hey Pervey -

You are on my list for a Nobel prize. Thanks a lot. Very interesting stuff. Not only are the M codes on the window option sticker here (it is called a Maroney sticker in USA, for Senator Maroney who initiated it), but also the Porsche internal M build codes one does not normally see.
