Assuming (small probability) this is a real deal, here's what to do. Tell the seller you will present either a cashier's check or cash (their preference) upon delivery (including clear title) in Hawaii. Fly to Hawaii (only a thousand or so). Enjoy a brief visit to paradise and maybe you'll get the deal of the year.

On Jan. 18th it was in Oklahoma according to the attached Autocheck report. I highly doubt someone would ship a car from Oklahoma to Hawaii just to ship it right back to the mainland 3 months later. The guy is a obvious scammer.

When I was selling my 350Z a f ew years back, i had very similar offers. "I can't make it myself but I'll arrange for a company to pick it up..." & "Use Paypal..." Scam, scam, scam! For those of you buying or selling, Google "Paypal scams" or the like and enjoy your reading.

With reference to this specific car, I'd offer the following: Tell him that you have a buddy in HA who can swing by and check out the car for you and ask for an address. Then sit back and enjoy the back-pedalling!
