Exactly the way I felt ...
I used to crap in my pants when I got under the car ...
So much so, that I used to put brick cribbing and additional jacks stands underneath the car ......
Not anymore ...

Any chance you could post a pic of the exact positioning of your jackstands beneath the car. Still get nervous when I'm underneath that it's unstable.

Opo,

Please: How did you get your car up so high? Do you have a forklift hidden somewhere?

Seriously.

Thanks.

No forklift bud, I raise the rear first about half way of the limit of height on the jack stands , than I do the front to the max height of the jack stand using 2 jacks, one on each side than I go to the back and lift the back to the highest point of the jack stands and that's the way I get the car that high, and to bring it down just follow same pattern but backwards
Here's more pictures of my other babies, they all get the same treatment
You can see that with these jack stands the car can be lift higher

Another vote for the Esco stands. When it comes to safety I would consider using them a life saving action. I had a mechanic coming to my garage once to help me with a project and he was VERY impressed. Typically, he uses his stands that he had in the trunk but when he saw mine, they stayed right in the trunk.
