Ok, thanks Bill! You are a living 993 dictionary!!

Did some test fitting. The wheel specs are slightly too mild. In front I think I could use a 1" or even 1.5" wider outer barrel and on the rear 2". The rear is ok now but with the turbo quarters the fender line will move out that 2".
We will do the bodywork first and then make temporary spacers to get the wheels to sit correct with the fender edge. After all is clear, I will get new outer barrels for the wheels.
What can I say, these 14" flares are really HUGE!!!

edit: Scratch that on the front...it is perfect as the hubs will move out 30mm!!!

Have you started saying dirty things to her yet? Those hips provide plenty of stimulation.

I actually though this was your plan Juha, makes perfect sense. Maybe that's why you're not doing it?!

Man, those pics are tempting. I wasn't planning on coming to Finland this summer but now I might just have to...

I will sure do! We should do a 993 gathering with Viggo etc. Maybe drive to Vaxholm for beers or lunch or something.

The GT2 wing will stay, the banana wing just replaces the blade and goes over the GT2 tailbase.
I do have the 3.8RS tail laying around, it is almost similar, just a bit more modest.

Petu perkele, you must come this summer! I already bought the "season ticket" to Ahvenisto. I'll send you a list of the dates by e-mail.

One more teaser:

Juha,

For fitment start with the side rocker panels then line up the fender flares or you will have gaps. I think you may need a turbo rear bumper for the larger flares. The front should fit nicely (all GT2). The brake ducts in the center of the front nose will need some cutting to fit the NB front tub. I ran ducting hoses from them through the frame rail to cool the brakes.

Bob, i am indeed swapping out the rear quarters with used turbo quarters i sourced from van zweeden in the Netherlands. I also bought turbo rockers (the actual sheet metal frame) from the same place. The turbo rear bumper i already bought last year, it has been waiting in my garage for this day.
The photos were just for fun not actual body work going on...

With regards to brake ducting, i will definately spend some time on that. The better cooling they have, the less $$$ down the road for discs, pads and seals+gaskets. I've already spent enough on that...

Also, following Bob's find, i just purchased a set of glassfibre turbo front fenders. Will do as Matt suggested and hang the originals on the wall and watch them appreciate in value.
