Hey Harlan,
No bottom washing this year - due to all the washing, water got into the top side of both of the lift cylinders past the wiper seals, lightly corroding the barrels and causing minor leaks, and I now have all the lift hydraulics apart and I am getting the cylinders honed and seals replaced - so that is not going to happen again unless I can be sure the cylinders will not get wet.
As for the pcarworkshop bbq, ideas are welcome. Lot of options abound, but do not want to highjack this thread = I should start a thread.
I will come down to Seattle the day before (the 7th) so I am fresh in the morning for this drive. Sounds like this event will be fun.

I phoned the hotel, they are not setup yet with the discount code, so they recommended to hold off booking the hotel for a few days... did anyone else get that?
I do have an issue on the "must attend 993 event" moniker - my annual Pcarworkshop BBQ and Shop Day hosted in my shop is also very well attended, will be on its 8th year this year, and tends to be almost pure 993's...

Mike you are welcome to use our spare room for the night, it's Porsche themed (only room my wife will let me put P-car stuff).
I like the oil changes, keeps my car regular.
I can bring up a bunch of my detailing stuff, and we can have a DIY detail day? But really a whole car takes over 8 hours.
