Just as my recent interest in the 993 board began to quickly decline, this

That was your 993rd post - which is a somewhat interesting coincidence.

Wiring loom removal - 9m style.

Mark took a break from his usual engine building duties today to enjoy the satisfaction of pulling the loom out of the shell and finishing the glue removal. If only the cars go back together as easily as they come apart....

And the result is the complete wiring harness on the workshop floor ready to be stripped and converted to RS specification.

Are you going to retain the OBD2 compatibility?

Switch to Motec?

I really admire you folks at Ninemeister. However, it also comes with a healthy dose of frustration since I cannot afford your magic without a nice bank heist as a part of my plan :banghead::bowdown:

That's fine, just include not getting caught into the scheme and I'm sure we would be soon talking to each other! The alternative strategy is to keep buying lottery tickets, but that seems not to be working quite as well as expected. ;)

Glue, glue, Barney McGlue, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub.....

The quest continues, the lads dropping onto the shell in between other jobs to continue with the quest for a non-stick interior. Before anyone asks, yes, the lads completely hate this job but they would rather be employed than not. There is no immediate pressure to complete since the jig is currently tied up with another fabrication project and the cage tubing is yet to arrive, however once everything is here we will be more than ready for the welding phase to begin.

Glue, glue, Barney MacGlue, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub.....
I wonder how many people are confused by that ?
