Was thinking about flying out and driving back but the cost would have been close to non-enclosed and much time spent in the process. Easier for me to just pay for the enclosed and not have to worry about it.

I can see the modification slippery slope ahead. Contact Gert at Carnewal and or Sunset Porsche. There the Pusher Man.
Always nice to see a 993 find a good home!

I had at one time 25K worth of spares/performance parts for my RS4 and then decided it was time to sell off some (I had three exhaust for it and only needed one which is on the car finally). That money was used to buy the 964. That is partially apart at this time and will be in the garage on jacks soon.
Did see a lift for sale in NJ that would suit my needs. The garage is getting an overhaul in the Spring. Once that is finished...a lift will be in place and the real fun will begin
I am going to put some thought into the 993 and enjoy it in its current state prior to making any changes.
Thanks all.
Steve

Got a call from Intercity this morning and according to them the car has been picked up and will be at my house on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

I got the car today and drove it for about 50 miles and it runs great. It somewhat feels like the 964 I have.
What is interesting is the PPI came back with the front bumper, hood and fenders repainted with a run in the paint on the gas cap and on the hood. Well it turns out that the entire front end has a clear bra on it and the two things that looked like a run in the paint were just places where the clear bra was coming loose. Somewhat surprise the Porsche shop did not realize that but the Intercity drivers knew exactly what it was and pointed it out to me. They have to document the condition the car is in on pick-up.
The car is somewhat dirty on the outside and is no doubt in need of a detail...has micro marring on the paint through-out...but that is easy to detail out.
At this point a very clean well running car. Pictures to come...
