Voltage become unstable

Hi all,

I have recently changed the battery as well as the alternator on my 993. It seems all fine on the first week but the electrical accessories (Stereo, AC, Light) becomes very unstable and restart all the time. Car almost stall if I turn on Stereo. I immediate stop using the car.

Reason why I change battery as well as alternator is I had the same problem (only Stereo restart) and my mechanic said it was the battery as well as alternator.

I read from other post that the voltage regulator may be the suspect and will deteriorate over time. It seems all fit to my issue and would like to ask if any one has similar experience? Also, would anyone has a spare Bosch 92860314200 that sell to me? However, a new alternator/generator should come with a new regulator right?

Thank you for all your help...

Check your engine ground wire and battery ground cable....good luck!

Why not measure your battery voltage at a steady RPM. Is it constant?

Check to see if you have any AC (failed/bad diode(s) on your diode plate) at your battery.
