993 vs 991 - A Visual Comparison.
 

I parked my car at the Baltimore GP Porscheplatz and when I came back after the race I saw this next to it. Had to take a few pics of the two together. They speak for themselves...

The 991 is porky and I see SUV height is still an issue :)

But seriously -- 993 is such a better-looking car, especially the front end. 991 front looks like a deep-sea aquatic creature of some kind.

A great set of shots. A co-worker pointed out to me an interesting commonality I hadn't noticed. The mounting of the side mirror on the door rather than the post.

I'm biased, but that 991 is not that appealing when compared to the 993.

My (biased) vote is on 993 :D Sorta feel sorry for the designers of 991, No doubt the designers tried hard at making the Carrera more perfect-er than ever, no doubt the 991 can perform better, but I still like the appropriately sized 993 more than the comparably larger 991. Although its a subjective thing, I believe 993 is so difficult to beat in terms aesthetic ( which I also believe is not something that could be improved by technology ; aesthetic depends solely on the visions of the mind)

I really like the new 991's looks. Just don't park a 993 (or 964, Carrera 3.2, etc, etc) next to one. Huge and not as pretty as its ancestors.

The 991 is a beautiful shape,but as others have said,I'm blown away at how much bigger it is than our 993s. The small size is one of the things I enjoy most about my car.
