The paint is cracked through the clear and color. This is different than a chip or dent that the dent-pros are famous for. I know of no way to fix spider cracks like that short of either sanding or gouging out the cracked area, refilling it with a polyester filler and then a touch up respray of the area or bumper. If there's another way, I'm all ears.

That's exactly what my tech would do; a simple respray won't cut it.
