Default Fill your 5 car garage

Peter Egan wrote a column about what 5 motorcycles he would own to satisfy his need to have the right bike for a given use. A touring bike, a sport touring bike, an off road bike, a pure sports bike rocket and I forget the last bike. So my question is this: if you don't have to purchase the car, but you do have to maintain it, what 5 cars would you choose? Resale is not a consideration. My choices are 95' 993 Coupe with 6 spd, 993tt, 1950 RR Silver Dawn Drophead, 356 Carrera 2, 1958 Ferrari 250 California LWB Spyder. If I were adept at posting photos I could show you my picks.....Chris

If I dont have to buy it, it would be a F40, Porsche Carrera GT, McLauren F1, Benz 300SL roadster, Porsche Cayenne turbo (DD). Doubt I'll be driving the other cars much so I wouldnt have to worry about maintenance cost. If there is enough space, squeeze in a MV Agusta F4.

Only 5 cars?

I have the first two: 993 6spd Cab and '95 Benz e320 Cab, would want to add:
Ferrari 355 6spd spyder, '57 Porsche 356 speedster and Porsche 997 GT3RS.

Could I have a mint BMW e30 M3, '97 LandRover Defender 90 and BMW Alpina B7 out on the driveway?

In the spirit of the article, I have mixed it up with the best tool for my every (current) need.

1) 993 C4S - got it
2) Jeep Wrangler - got it
3) Shelby Cobra - want it a lot
4) Honda Odyssey (It's not a minivan, it's and "Odyssey") - got it
5) Ducati Monster - had it and want it back

No desire for fast exotics. I like raw, grunt and noise on and off the track. Currently searching for a throaty exhaust for the minivan :-)

Since I started this foolishness I am claiming thst you have the right to amend your list after seeing the choices of others. To that end I am removing my 95' 993, of which I have already owned two, and replacing with the McLaren 12C.....So there! Chris

My wishlist is the following:

1. 993 speedster for the sunny days
2. Carrera GT for the fast days
3. 997 GT3 RS 4.0 for the track days
4. The next 991 Turbo for the working days
5. BMW ALPINA B5 XDrive touring for the family days

These won't be garage queens but regurally used cars
