Fister stage III's installed, my thoughts

When engines run lean, the exhausts can be louder, the chip is pushing more fuel, less lean condition, possibly quieter sound, less popping exhaust... that's my theory...

StageIII rumbles and you get a lot more attention from the outside world. I am a little selfconsious about it, but it is a sports car! especially with PSS10's at RS+10 to keep it low, RS motormounts shake the whole car.. it's kinda hardcore and ill get over it :P

Stage III is a lot tamer than many of those loud exhausts you hear on riced out Hondas, flowmastered Mustangs and Camaros and trucks... this exhaust system is not extreme by any stretch of the imagination... a great balance of sound for the street in the right frequencies of why people like to hear this motor uncorked...
It is not race exhaust loud...

I have had my Stage III's for about a year now and still love them !! I really
can not imagine having the car without them. Hat's off to FD Motorsports !!

Stage III and 100 cell cats. Love it.
I finally heard someone else drive it on the track, and it was the best sounding car out there! No, I'm not biased. Absolutely love em.

I believe you need fangs if you use Fister IIIs at Laguna.
I brought their fangs last time, but did not need them with RSRs and 100 cell cats, so I sold the fangs to another happy Fister III user who had been having sound issues.

I installed stage IIIs a couple of years ago now and certainly do not at all regret it - still love them!
I have just put in a motorsound airbox and, to me, it adds a richer dimension - especially when the windows are up. A great combination - induction and exhaust.

FWIW, coming back from Cars & Coffee this past Saturday a.m., I actually turned on the CDR210 (which I never do) just to see how the the Stage III's affect the sound. At steady highway speeds (70-75 mph), I could hear talk radio and music quite clearly....and without cranking up the volume.
