He's extremely knowledgable and has disposable income. Which is why he Frankenporsched an 81 911 into a never made 993 TT cab into a V8 supercar. At least he got the wipers right. Thanks Tony, now I can go to sleep...

While I'm not a big fan of V8 conversions, I don't necessarily hate them. What I do hate, though, is changing the body style so it looks like a different model 911.

I like the engine conversion. I know I wouldn't mind an additional 200 naturally aspirated horsepower in my car. When you consider how much it would cost to build a 400 Hp naturally aspirated Porsche engine the V8 conversion really makes sense... which is why RUF went that route as well.
