Fly Yellow is so killer. When I was in high school I had a right hand drive 240z that was Fly Yellow and all the chrome was redone in flat black.

^^^ You're welcome Arpi, always glad to help a friend spend his money in the pursuit of passion .. Especially someone who appreciates like I know you do!

It's kind of sad, really ... I find these beautiful cars that I want but can't afford .. so I figure at least my friends might be able to enjoy them. This car was so special and unique I just knew Arpad would love it. .. Paint to Sample Ferrari Yellow, full leather and Exclusive Carbon package from the factory .. THEN the original purchaser had Techart do a complete body kit and suspension and brakes .. total bill was over $30K back in 1998!!! All receipts, service records .. two owner history .. all service up to date .. seemed like a perfect match.

Enjoy in good health bud!

Hey Brian ... I've been wondering since seeing this car .. how much difference in shade is there between Ferrari Yellow and Feyance (sp?)? Have you ever seen them side by side to compare?

First, I'm honored that THE p-car ColorMeister himself is asking me a question about color! I hope my answer does your question justice.

I've seen them side by side and the Ferrari yellow is a few shades brighter than Fayence. More of a "pure" yellow??? To me, Fayence looks a tiny bit lighter but very close to the shade used on traffic signs.

Is that like being the 'CheerMeister' at the Whobillation? Man .. I hope so!

Yeah .. I thought it might be a tad mellower .. kind of like butter yellow, not quite as bright as Ferrari but not as light as Pale Yellow either.
I've seen Fayence in person once a few years ago at Bruce Canepa's shop .. but unless you actually own a CGT in that color .. heh ... it would be unlikely to see Fayence against Ferrari yellow or Speed Yellow .. probably VERY unlikely .. you're a very lucky man Brian ..

Fly Yellow is a bright, pure yellow, where Speed Yellow has some red in it... almost (but not quite) a bit mustardy. I love Speed Yellow. Would love to see Fayence some time.

A friend of mine has a speed yellow 993 C2. I would like to take a common picture to see the difference between the 2 paints. As I have it will share with you.

What can I say except ... Great taste!
Love the car, it looks like right out of the box.
CF trim is a nice touch.

I'd say loose the bumperettes and you're done

Good luck and enjoy it !
