Who's manufacturing steering rack braces?
I saw a post awhile back on someone making a few more steering rack braces. Sorry, I couldn't locate the post. If it was you and you still have one t sell, please contract me. Thank you.

Chaoscreature is the guy making them, great to deal with
Porsche just made a batch of them and they are about $85..If I hadnt already had mine on backorder 9now filled) with Sunset I would have definitely bought the one chaoscreature makes..his looks more substantial |
Thanks, I'll try to contact him.

Actually my car already has one. I mixed up this brace and the strut brace.

I still have more of mine around too.
$57 shipped with insurance gets you a billet 6061-T6 brace that's hand made in San Diego. Also comes with two of the longer M8 grade 12.9 socket head cap screws :) |
if my steering feels rattley does this mean my support bracket is broken - no oil dump or any other signs of bad rack
|
Probably not.
I would check your inner/outer tie rods first since you can get at them without removing anything. I don't think the rack support braces ever break. |
Bump for those who might be new and don't know about the rack braces. I still have more @ $57 each shipped anywhere in the US (local pickups are okay too, $50 :) )
|
Peter's (chaoscreature) brace is top notch!
