ac compressor whine
I believe the noise is the bearing un the ac compressor. Haven't looked yet to see if it is something I can replace. The whine cycles with the ac clutch h coming on/off. Are the bearings able to be replaced by a diy or do they require a shop rebuild?

Mine did this at one point. I didn't see the point of going through all the hassle of replacing the bearings when an A/C compressor from FD or another source is so reasonable, an comes with the clutch and everything ready to go.
