Scott - I was wondering along the same lines. Fortunately, I do not take advantage. Quite fortunately.

Got the PM, Jo. Will respond later. A storm is on us, so I might have to check out for the night soon.

I'm sure the title continues to stand (pro vita in fact) , but we have to come up with some sort of torment to go with it. (Robert expects that...)

Glad to have been gone from here for a day or so?
Sorry to see Bonnie get sucked into this again--this guy, and years ago a certain Mr. Lin..........
(Bonnie, am I the only one here who "works" for you?)

There are actually a few other of our instructors on here, but none that join us as often as you do. We do have quite a few drivers here, though. I suspect Rennlist is why we started seeing a lot more Porsches the last few years. I love it! It is like going to a private car show.

Andreas, Jon...that is just too funny. Rofl. If laughter truly is the best medicine, Rennlist has the best doctors.

Thanks for the link, Mike.
Astonishing.
But I will have to say when he wasn't hating women, he was reading.
"It has to do with the fact that there are to many Porsches in the hands of people that can not really afford them in the first place.Porsches were designed and built for an elite group. This site is full of Porsche owners it never intended to have or wanted to have own there cars.Porsche has five target buyer groups(demographics) as per there internal "1994 Sales Reference Guide".They are:1)Top Guns 2)Proud Patrons 3)Fantasists 4)Bon Vivants 5)Elitists.Do you belong to any of Porsches intended demographic buyers?I do not think so!" (post #54)
This demographic breakout caused quite a stir in advertising/marketing circles back then. I think it was a watershed moment for the company. While extremely smart and sophisticated, and an engine for profit, I believe this insight is when PAG began the move away from being a sports car company.
And while well-read, the guy must have a problem with comprehension. Otherwise he never would have said Porsche doesn't build cars for people on this forum.

I am going (maybe) to start a thread Tuesday morning to welcome him back. That will get him banned for sure, I bet. Lol.

I see we are talking about our "2S truth" guru. There has been a lot of bad, immature VRAM behavior history posted here. Has he ever had a positive contribution? A contribution that has helped strengthen the community (not by galvanizing our distain for him) or was in the spirit of what the list is all about? If not then perhaps banning is the only thing left to do.
