Wow...what a great day in Los Angeles for 993's. I took my car out of its 8 week hibernation today for a quick spin over Mulholland Drive and low and behold, saw quite a few 993's out!

The first one was what appeared to be a Vesuvius C2S on Mulholland between Woodrow Wilson and Laurel Cyn. Second was a Silver C2S on Mulholland at Beverly Glen. Third was a Silver C2 Coupe parked on Ventura Blvd in Studio City. And the 4th was a Black Turbo at Vendome Liquor in Studio City! Never mind the two 993's at a one-off car store next to the car wash in Studio City. If you count them all...that's 6 993's in one day!

I, too, took my 993 out for a spin, only I headed towards the other Mulholland near the beach and did Kanan-Dume Road and the adjoining twisty roads. I also saw a few 993s out there.

But I drove a 993 in San Diego yesterday.

More Porsches sold in Southern Ca than anywhere else on the planet. I'm always down for a drive- especially a Mulholland/Beverly Glen one! also Super Car sunday at the end of May is Porsche day! See yawl there!

you guys in the US are very lucky. I wish to drive milholland drive someday, but im sad to say its most likly going to have to be in rental car because im 4 days of driving away (one way)

little OT but my favorite routes along Mulholland are:

up Stunt Road
down Tuna Canyon, very curvy and one way. (gotta watch out for cyclist and occasional car coming up the wrong way)
up Las Flores and down Piuma
west on mulholland to top of snake (local hangout)
down Decker
up Latigo, very windy also

Best to do these canyons on weekday. Too many cars and cops on weekends.

PM me if anyone wants to hit these roads. You won't be disappointed.
