I want a set of Cup II's in an 18" application and wide body offsets. Then I shall be happy.

IIRC there is a lister that makes wheels, or at least puts them together. I think he put a set of 3 piece 18s that had centers that looked similar to Cup II centers. I was on the verge of buying them until I got the itch for MY02s and went that route. I wish I had kept the pictures, they were awesome looking. As 3 piece, he could make up any offset you want.

Check out post 1157 in the coolest wheels thread.

Default Cup II's For Sale

I agree bone stock is the way to go. Just listed a nice set of Cup II's for sale on Rennlist and Detroit Craigslist for $800. Is that a rational price? Thanks, Mike.

Default Recently sourced a set of 18" Cup II aftermarket versions.

+1 ... Count me in as a Cup II wheel fan. When ordering the coupe I didn't think twice about not checking the box for the spendi $ Turbo Twist wheel option. The extra cost options such as Full Leather, Litronics, and HB seats to name only a few was money better spent.

Has anyone viewed a Cup II wheel re-finished in the HyperSilver I think ist called?

Are there any good pic's of the newer 17" Fuchs on a 993 body? Their website didn't have what I was looking for.

Oh ,,, I hear ya. Back in the day the Technology wheel was all the rage... You couldn't give the Cup IIs away. ... Okay,,, More Cup IIs for me!

Different strokes for different folks...

I'm going to look after the Hyper finish in silver for a set of aftermarket Cup II 18 inch that I have. Quad,,, you'll be begging to buy them you watch .... Your 93TT will be all the rage - retro speaking!

With my Boxster and its 17" twists, I hated the fact that there weren't CW and CCW twists so that they both oriented the same relative to the front and rear of car. For a spell I was tempted to find a set of Cup IIs to put on the Boxster instead. I never did do that thought.

Now I have Cup IIs and I find myself longing for 18" MY02s or Carrera IIIs (or something aftermarket). Such is the curse of car ownership I suppose...

Older thread so I'll just quote myself.

Don't want to hijack the thread but what are people's thoughts on Cup II's painted body color (in my case Iris Blue) with an unpainted lip? A photo in Peter Morgan's Original 911 book of a dark grey 993 C2S with body color-painted wheels and painted caps was the reason I fell in love with the 993 but I've never bit the bullet and done it on my own car.

You are obviously in the know... They look good, if you don't like them, that is fine.
