Looking at an interesting 993 in Jamestown and would like to get recommendations for a mechanic to do an informed PPI. Current owner uses Fred's, who described the car as an "11", but I'd like to get an independent opinion.

I second Pat Duggan at Inskip. Also, Andrew Barber in Watch Hill RI, At Watch Hill Garage (401) 596-9740. A+++++ service and complete porsche knowledge especially with the air-cooled cars, and you won't get the potential dealership biased opinions??
