Default Porsche Hood Crest Question

Hey guys, the Porsche crest on the hood of my 993 C2S is bowed in. I was wondering if you could take them off and get a replacement and where I could get the replacement. Thanks!

Do a search.
2 simple speed nuts and a nut driver.

As far as getting the new gasket to easily fit the new crest ...

leave it then.

Actually mine was bowed too. I ended up finding a like new silver crest locally. Looks great on my silver car.

The gasket is indeed hard to stay on when installing - I soaked it in very hot water before attaching - after playing around with it it stayed on and was easy to install.

Good luck.

Purchase a new crest & gasket from Porsche. The proper gasket is very pliable and easy to apply.

Most crests sold on EBay, while from OE manufacturers, will come with a vinyl gasket that is nearly impossible to deal with.
