And here is some advice for any 993'ers thinking the grass is greener on the 997 GT3 side. I truly miss Smurf... As has been said 1000 times before, there really is nothing like a 993. Sure, the GT3 is faster...but the sum of the experience isn't the same.
I am currently building a GT3 track car in much the same fashion as Smurf - there are many more "obstacles" and "what-ifs" in the 997 world when compared to 993s....not to mention double/triple the cost of just about everything.

^^^^ but with a larger carbon wing above the side vertical stabilizers ... comme ça ..

Yes the tail is CF as well as the wing. Tail is a 3.8 which doesn't have bilateral air intakes like the RSCS or GT2 tail/wing combos. Early RSRs ran the 3.8 tail base with 50" or 60" wings. Later RSRs and Gt2s ran the 60" banana wing.
