I subjected myself to much internet research and hair pulling on this front, and this forum was very valuable. Elsewhere I heard all sorts of craziness - one person told me that as I have a cab (it's not my fault, I wanted a coupe but this car grabbed me...and the family demanded a ragtop), the frame would break if I went H&Rs and Bilsteins.

Ultimately I consulted my trusted wrench who races 993's, including lots of analysis of what I wanted, and that is what he recommended and installed. To be highly specific, they are set "in the middle", which may veritably be "stupid low". But I love 'em. Drives like a sports car now.

I know I'm supposed to hate the Cup IIs, but I just don't. I'm working on it.

If possible, you might try to test out someone else's setup - these things are pretty subjective.

Apex: your car looks good but those are not cup IIs, they are Boxster twists. Here's a pic of my car with the original Cup IIs before I switched to 18" TTs.
