I have 4 bulbs that are burned out. My light bar will not light up at all when the brake pedal is pushed. I am measuring 6V at the 3rd brake light. I assume it needs 12V to light, since the bulbs are all 12V.
Anyone have an idea where I am dropping 6V? could this be a problem at the switch?
both side brake lights work, just the 3rd CHML does not light up.

Cactus, Nick (Warpig) was definitely who you're thinking of. If you look at his thread you'll see that the white Led's give a brighter more original look. The reds probably have a bright but more hyper red color which I'm sure looks cool. His kits on which I'm sure he made nothing at all had a resistor. It's an easy 2 person job (4 hands is very helpful and makes it go very quickly).

I though that when people used the white LED's it washed out the red lens giving it a pink color. When I did mine on a previous 993 I went red and it looked great. YMMV
