Default Suspension install and alignment cost

Recently bought ROW M033/Bilstein HD set up from Darin at FD and am looking for a good shop to install and do an alignment near me.

Could anyone give me a ballpark number of what that job, done right, should cost?

Appreciate any help.

I paid about $600 a few years ago to have my PSS-10s installed and my car aligned at one of the best alignment shops in SoCal. I think I got a smoking deal, though.

Thanks guys, big range there. Anyone else had this done recently to try and get an average?

I think $1100 is probably closer to the mark than mine.

My alignment guy hadn't seen the then new PSS-10s when they first came out and I brought them to be installed, and perhaps that played a part in my great install/alignment deal.

You went to West End, didn't you Goofball? I think I paid about the same last year for a PSS10. Couldn't believe what a knowledgable guy Darin is and what a smoking deal he gives.

I did indeed.

Agreed. Just checked my records and a few years ago he did my PSS-10s install, best alignment in town and a corner balance, and I was out the door for $650 all-in.

Very rare to get undercharged for stellar work. I'll take it!

1998993c4, if you live in SoCal, I think you just found your answer.

Those of us in So Cal are fortunate to have a guy like Darin, very knowledgeable, super nice guy.

I won't take the Porsche anywhere else for alignment work.

West End Alignment ROCKS!

I paid about 1500 up here in canada to have the bushings replaced with a tilt kit. Things are generally more expensive in the great white north.

$900 all in on labor including the alignment a couple weeks ago. Just PSSx's would have been $200-$300 less. The M030 sway install was a few hours extra labor.

My install was "free" but my alignment and corner balance was more than $600. Jae @ Mirage in San Diego is a wizard, albeit expensive, at Porsche alignment.

OP- you don't say where you are in your info-someone may guide you to a good shop, if we knew.

6-8 hours for the suspension install, & 1-3 hours for the alignment, more if you corner balance.

For alignment and corner balancing, I had mine done at Kraus Racing in Castro Valley. About $450, all in. Good guys who know what they're doing, and about 3 hours, start-to-finish.

Just did the 964. 10 hours of labor including installation and corner balancing, plus $250 for the alignment shop. If you are in NorCal take it to Darin.
