See .. I think stock Widebody and Narrowbody rear bumpers that have a center exhaust cutout might be a good market niche. Not trying to be a RUF wannabe but a more subtle modification exercise for RS style tribute cars and/or the ducktail crowd ...

If I were in the 993 aftermarket parts fabrication business, the next product I would be working on would be some sort of variation on the rear seat delete option. It seems like its a very popular and hard to find item judging by some of the recent threads on the subject. It also seems like something that could possibly be done better than the original - while still being accepted by purists. Just a thought.

This is a good example of RUF CTR bumpers. I would have zero interest in adding these to my 993. The cheese slicer look is fine on a RUF but seems to be trying too hard with a non-RUF 993.
I would be very interested on the subtle and tasteful vented rear bumper that Bill posted.

Here's an example of how some RUF stuff looks good (IMHO) on non-RUF cars. The front bumper cap on the Yellowbird looks terrific on SC's and 3.2 Carreras. Lots of racers put these on their cars, and they look "right" without trying too hard.

I fully agree. Even Mustangs have RSD kits available!
When you count how many "RS Replicas" and track oriented vehicles with cage the market is almost substantial.
