Default Midnight Blue interior code?

I'd like to buy some of the Dynamix leather dye for some interior projects & they only list codes FJ/FE/FK for midnight/night blue. My midnight blue code is SC, so I'm wondering if there is any difference in shade/color?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330679572697&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123
Does anyone have experience with the Dynamix midnight blue on their 993?

I've heard good things about them. Their website has testimonials and here's what one of them says:

"Great product with fast shipping to USA!! Perfect match to midnight blue, thanks!!"

Keith Meggs - California // United States
I'm actually thinking of purchasing some as well, my interior color is Midnight Blue, code FJ.

Thanks Ilko - interesting to know that your interior code is FJ & I wonder why there is a difference considering our C4S's are almost identical.

Guess I'll just go for it.

No guarantee, but I have looked at hundreds of hood stickers and window stickers and it would appear that NA cars optioned with Sport Seats had interior codes that started with an S. The FJ FE and FK had different variations of midnight with black or gray accents (dash, door tops, etc).

So SC should be the same as FJ but with sport seats (I think)

For my own curiosity, Did your car come with Sport Seats? What color is the dash top and door tops?

What year's your car Nick? Erik also makes a good point. My car had comfort seats originally and is all blue, the only exception being the center strip of the dash where the instrument cluster, radio, and HVAC unit are. That's black.

My car is a 96 and yes, it came with the sport seat option - all blue...

I think Erik is probably correct.

So far, that's the closest to my information but only for one entry. Pervy, is that the code on your C.O.A.?

Streather lists several codes and the book says the two letter code on the sticker under the hood is a computer generated calculated code created for that car only and based on all the interior color codes used in it's fabrication only.

Also, it says that "Some colours have different codes. Which shade applies to which model is determined by model year." Of course, there's no indication as to what code is for what year .. However, I suspect that DB probably covers the majority ..

So, here's what's listed:
6HP - Midnight Blue Leatherette
DBD - Midnight blue (Leather)
DBS - Midnight blue (Leatherette)
DBT - Midnight blue (Leather)
H24 - Midnight blue (Leather)

Just dyed an ebrake boot with the midnight blue leather dye of dynamix. The dye is excellent, just 2 layers to get a very factory looking finish. But the blue is a tad darker than the rest of my interior wich according to the sticker is midnight blue code FJ.

I will post a picture when a get back home.

The true Porsche color codes are 3 digits, as said, the 2 digits are build info, not colour codes

993 leather colors;
