Now you can appreciate the skillz of the people who did that interior. Clear examples of the best and the worst.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm betting that was a factory "wishes" job. The craftsmanship, even if you don't like the theme, is amazing. I kind of like it and definitely appreciate the quality.

What about the 3 spoke 996 steering wheel? Looks like its the same leather stock as the rest of the interior. Not impossible that the car was returned to the factory for someone's dream refit I suppose.

Yes, it is already very sporty interior was a complete 993 still want to implement before the new year. And so we had the patience of our customers demand, unfortunately, a little more than we would like it - thank Dr. Hörz!

But now it has finally come and the new interior of the 993 is ready. The result: HP in its finest form.

Was used nappa leather and Alcantara in bright, co-ordinated range of beige hues. A real challenge was the new carpet - also in beige. Embossing and embroidery on the seats and floor mats invite additional at a glance.

The roof lining and pillar trim in a deep black alcantara, form a harmonious contrast and harmonize with the dark plastic elements of the original equipment. The dark roof lining is also very comfortable for the driver - an aspect which we have also taken into account. For beautiful, should also be practical.

We are pleased to present to the 993 by Wolfgang Hörz another, wonderful project. Let yourself be inspired and inspire them - just as we do it
Anyway,, I like it.

Yes, this was a Factory option.

That was my thought. This is art. It is beautiful. But practical? I don't think so.

Beautiful craftmanship and I actually like the color which I suspect is not 'yellow' at all but more like the color 'Linen' that Porsche used to offer. The stitching is amazing, really well done. I don't think the leather would be that hard to maintain .. but the carpets would definitely be a problem, maybe just have 10 sets of replacement mats made up front :-).

I agree and I don't think it would take much more than going back and putting in the factory black leather/vinyl on the gauge pod and center strip, just enough to visually break it up.

There are several upholstery shops here and in Europe that offer those now. I'm sure Porsche is just turning a blind eye ...

I understand that this pattern can also be burned in as well. This side tells you in which direction left and right, the otherside tells you how high on the seat.

Yup. There was also a Horizon blue Techart modified 964 turbo with almost the same interior (custom). Let me see if I can find a pic..
