Does anyone have the paint codes for the hyper silver or know where I could buy it? Is there a special clear and base coat I need to buy? I was thinking I would buy an airbrush and try out just refinishing the little bits of curb rash. If it doesn't work out, then get the wheels professionally done. It would be nice to have a solution so I don’t have to get the wheels professionally refinished each time I bump them.

Knight, I still don't have a car, but I am close to getting one.

If you come up with an airbrushing solution, I am sure many of use would like to see it - these wheels curb REALLY EASY - for those who do not have them on the car, I will say that again, REALLY EASY.

Sigh,

Cheers,

I took a pretty decent hit to one of my 19" wheels. I cannot find a replacement so I will be forced to refinish all four wheels (matching is nearly impossible). Any advice on getting a hold of the closest replacement hyper silver finish would be greatly appreciated (the car is currently in southern California). Thanks in advance.

RUF is producing wheels again: https://rufautomobiles.com/product-c...wheels-brakes/

Maybe you can get a replacment, though it may not be cheaper than refinishing all 4...

Thank you...but those are forged wheels. I have the older classic 19" wide body version.

True Hyper Coating requires multiple coatings, you start off with a black base coat in order to get that true effect.

Attached are a couple of examples of Hyper coating that we shot here at Wheel Dynamics .

But I can keep my eyes open if anyone has any singles available.

Chris,

Thank you...it is greatly appreciated. They are rear 11 x 19.

I'm really starting to like those Ruf's. And I wasn't aware that they're making them again. Thanks.

The new wheels are of a slightly different design, and are now forged construction.
They are just now coming onto the market, and will be in high demand for a while.
