Last efforts before calling the hook...'95 C2, won't start after engine R&R.

So apparently you have such a big piece of towel in the intake valve that cranking the engine (compression test) failed to move it. So you may need an air compressor to push enough air to clear it. Get the intake valve open, exhaust valve closed, hook an air compressor to spark plug hole, and run air thru.
And come on, you need an air compressor anyway, right? Plus then you can do a leakdown like Mike said.
Definitely get this all cleared out before running the engine!!

Been playing neurosurgeon with the borescope and a kustom bent piece of wire...I'm getting it broken up at least. I've tried the shop vac through the intake and spark plug hole with a small hose, also tried putting it on reverse, turning it over until the exhaust valve was open and blowing through the cat outlet trying to at least get it off the valve seat (other side plugged...with towels of course!).
But, the borescope is dead now..nothing but a green screen. GO CHINA!!

Get this compressor from harbor freight
http://www.harborfreight.com/air-too...sor-95275.html
however their leakdown tester is crap:
http://www.harborfreight.com/cylinde...ter-94190.html
but you can at least use the plug adapter hose included in the kit to blow the crap out in there.
I use the same setup to perform my own leakdown test (modified the kit) and it works great.
One thing I learnt is you need the right tools to get anything done right!

Checked the filter in the shop vac, very very dirty. Gave it a quick clean and it certainly sucks now. Turned the borescope on and off a few times, it's back with me, for the moment at least.
Finished breaking up the towel I could see, and got it out with the vacuum through the intake. Throw the gauge on, 0 compression. Hmm. Put the vac on reverse again and did the blow through the exhaust again, definitely getting a LOT of air volume out of the spark plug hole this time.
Ran the compression test again...185 PSI.
It is odd though how my numbers are kinda all over the place, and maybe more so that many are higher than what the shop got from the PPI with a relatively warm engine.
Guess it's time to put the intake back on!

That is what its looking like.... Travis followed procedure and plugged the intakes in order that stuff does not fall into the engine - then reassembled the engine and tried to start, but forgot to remove the plugs... so hopefully after the cleanup (which looks good now) and a bit of testing he will be ready to try again.

Mike.........unpack your bags!
It's snowing snow outside, and it's snowing bits of burnt up paper towel inside. LOL. Garage is covered all around the back of the car!

Oh my god, what a freaking roller coaster...I kinda feel like this now (maybe it's just the giant Americano I started the day with though).
Huge huge mega HUGE thanks to everyone here who helped, I think I probably would have thrown in the towel a while ago had it not been for the encouragement and support I got from you all! And thanks for not banning me...yet.
