New to me c4s
I've been passively looking for a while to replace the cab with a coupe but did not know if it work out because I didn't want to buy long distance and didn't need to switch gears, so to speak. But, I came upon a c4s on my local craigslist and with the approval of the wifey, went and checked it out. One thing led to another and now I'm prepping my cab for sale.
The car: 1996 Glacier White c4s with 86k on the clock. Highlights include "good will" valve guide replacement at 35k by PCNA, Koni suspension (similar to pss9), RS flywheel and clutch w/in past 10k, S-Car-Go muffler, some nice little touches (red seat belts, etc.), and full service history. It has an oem turbo s wing, which is a subject of debate in our house. It may be for sale upon being replaced either by a split or "regular" grill. The hood was signed (inside of course) by Brian Redman and supposedly the second owner was offered 5k for the hood. If anyone wants to offer make me an offer, I mean I don't dislike the guy but....
Although the seller initially was asking a lot, circumstances allowed me to pick it up for what I think is a good price, in the mid-30s.
I've already ordered the bumper plugs to cover the license plate holes and the Blaupunkpt Toronto (to look as close to stock as possible but have bluetooth and iPhone controls). Looking for sport seats to finish it off.
Because it seems to the law, here are the obligatory pics quickly snapped this morning:
