Hard back sport seat dis-assembly?

Okay. Got the sportseats back. Came out perfect. (both seatbacks and the ducktail were $250 for all three...). A great job all around. The seatabacks were relatively easy to put back together. The only tricky part were the release levers...you have to actively place them into the slots before you screw it all back together or you will have to re-do the whole thing (ask me how I know!). Anyways, my nightmares of slackened or wrongly placed leather and other disasters were all for nothing. I have them in the car but not bolted in yet. Here are a couple of pictures.

Thank you...When I first saw them at the paint shop laying there all shiney and ARena-like I almost jumped up and down. Now after seeing these and the ducktail I will have to repaint the whole damned car. New AR paint is like a jewel that draws you in.

Andy,wait to you install them and you start walking up to the car from the back, and you see those seats just looking at you as you walk up to the car, PRICELESS!!

This is a great post. I also have a pair of seatbacks that I like to have painted as well.

Does anyone know where to get new hardback seat foam? My driver seat leather is still great, but the foam is starting give alike? Thanks, and great post! Enjoy the seats!
