Default Silly Sticker Question - Passenger Window

This may sound silly, but as a new 993 owner, I have to ask... These 2 stickers (1 clear, 1 white) have been on the passenger window for almost 15 years. Obviously the window has gone up and down (then again, the car is so clean I'm not so sure). I can't say I've ever seen a 993 with the stickers here - they are the sort you would peel off before delivery. But, there they are... If I were to show the car at a PCA event, would having these still on the car be a good or bad thing?

Thanks,
Ron

The cars didn't have those stickers there when they where imported to the dealers.
Can you take a close up photo?

The drive block sticker, but not that one in your px window.

Power is still out at home where Red is parked. Will get a close up when I return. They both are Porsche stickers the factory put there, but weren't removed by the dealer. I can't even remember what they say, but they are very "dry" if you know what I mean. Will get a macro shot and post tomorrow (I hope!)

It has been 13 years but I don't remember them being there.

Maybe they took them off the cars at port of entry in my location, I used to be the guy that put the 18 miles on the new cars.

Is this the sticker your referring to? I always wondered about it myself.

That's one of them, there's a clear one with black type below it too.

I have two stickers, both white. They were on the car when I bought it.

I want to test this claim ... anybody want to crash their car into a barrier at 5mph and see if there's any "damage" ???? I'll bet that's a $3000 day ... easy.

If you were a concours devotee and these stickers were delivered with the car, then you would want them for originality purposes.

With all respect, but that sticker on the right window, WILL DRIVE ME NUTS while driving the car., it's almost in the middle of the window.

Are you referring to the Sekurit one? If so, it's not actually a sticker, it's etched into the glass because that's the manufacturer's name. You'll see that on all the windows, if they're original.

As for the big white one, that may have been attached at the factory or by PCNA when it came into the country, but it would normally have been removed by the dealer before delivery, so I doubt it would have any value for concours purposes. It certainly is unsightly and should have been removed by someone 15 years ago, IMO.

Guilty as charged. My '95 has the same white sticker on the passenger side. Been meaning to take a razor to it.
