Chuck (dcdude, OP) and I went to C&C a few years ago, IIRC we arrived around 6, or shortly after and got into the 3rd row of parking.

For those coming from the Valley, and anyone in the South Bay (dcdude, gonzilla, me, +???), a decent meeting spot is the Mills, which is right off the 405 on the NW corner at Western and 190th, nice good sized parking lot, and we can jump on the 405 south. Google maps says it is 50 minutes from there to Irvine Center Drive.

tanger, yikes 0500! I get up early, but that is even pushing it for me. I was thinking 520 with ~530 departure, that should get us to Irvine well before 630.

We should plan on a SD group assembly point in Oside, or maybe the rest stop just before Pendleton. 5:45 or so would get us there by 6:30?

Sounds good. I don't know Oceanside that well, maybe we can meet at a gas station just off the 5 and just north of the 78.

OK...how about 5:45AM in the parking lot of the McDonald's on the southeast corner of I-5 and OCEANSIDE BLVD? Then...a spirited drive up to Irvine (I'll bring the Passport 9500ix!).
