Sapphire's new sound (before & after soundclips)
I bought a set of lightly used RSR mufflers from CorrdoBrit recently, and just put them on. First of all, I must say CB was extremely easy to deal with and shipped as promised, and mufflers were exactly as described. I loved this deal, as I kept my stock mufflers.
While I think Fisters of some sort will be in my future to get a bit more volume, the sound of these is excellent, not to mention they are much lighter. Most of the difference is the slightly lower tone. When I took them for a short drive, they are a bit louder, and basically fill in sound lower in the RPMs that was pretty quiet until the Motor Sound airbox comes into play at about 4K. This is probably the stock sound Porsche shoulda/coulda provided, had they not had sound limits to contend with. I also took a few minutes to polish my tips.
Before and after clips, for whatever they are worth. And no, that is not smoke-it is a small amount of water vapor from a cold engine.
