Trailer tie downs on a 993 for transport?

When transporting in an enclosed single car trailer, what are the basic tie downs used for a 993?

I tow with an open trailer. I use 5000lb straps through all four wheels.
I have the Rennline tie down points, but I have never installed them.

You can use the wheel straps as Joe does or tie to the front factory tie down w/ a carabiner

^^
What Bill said. The rear hardware costs like $49.

I can't reach the frame rails on both sides in my Trailex, so I use one 'biner through the frame on the driver's side and attach to the tow hook on the passenger side.
(Someone will say the tow hook is not optimal, but I've got 100K miles of towing that way. YMMV)

Bill, can you let me know what is the exact model of rear tie downs you got and where you got them? You pretty happy with them?

Thanks
David

If it's your trailer I would invest about $100 into a set of E-tracks, I bought 8' lengths for about $30 each a few years back, it took 4 of them. The best way to strap a car down is by the wheels/tires. That way the suspension can load/unload as if it were driving. If you lash the car down from the chassis and hit a good enough sized bump you can relieve all of the tension on the straps and the car can potentially move.
