I shipped these 993 HB by freight company (company freight room to company freight room) and I had no problems.
The info I listed above was my experience trying to ship those GT3 Alcantara seats from Boston to CO
and it seemed to be crazy $$$ on FedEx or UPS.
Well, that's good news then. Scratch what I said above. Rookie talk
And yes, GH freight came highly recommended but lack of insurance, tracking and finding a station near you wasn't the easiest.

Nice!In Europe the market for those seats is nearly totally empty now. You will find them only with good connections here. I bought a pair (4-way & heating) in 2007 in perfect conditions for EUR 2.400 (~ $ 3'408) for my turbo. This year I had to pay for the same seats EUR 3.750 (~ $ 5'140), no other way...
For Europe that price would be hot.
In 2009 the seats in my turbo have been a bit optimized...
