Default Reeling in a 993 at Miller (aka catching Trophy)

All right - it was a warm-up lap but it was the first time I managed to catch Steven on the track!

I love that track. I bought a 993 last spring and have been to Miller for the PCA DE days. I'd be considerably easier to catch - but getting harder, I hope.

Boy look at that freight train I was on the back of

Hey do you have any more video? I want to hear my exhaust as I blast away from you

That would have to be the best weekend ever... September in SLC, at Miller just perfect.

Oh yeah - I've got lots of video of you pulling away from me but I had to edit this carefully so as to not make myself look bad.

Marc
p.s. Exhaust sounds great!

What group were you in? I don't remember seeing you. That may have been the fastest DE group I have seen at Miller. Panoz, Vipers, Cup cars, GT3RS, ... . I would start near the back and when I started getting lapped about 25 minutes into the session I'd bail. I'm not in good enough condition for a fortyinute session.

I was running in Yellow group for the whole weekend, and was trying to be at the front of the pack at the start of each session, I like chasing GT3's , Had a bunch of fun beating up the vipers as well, fast in a straight line but not so good in the corners..

Once I get sorted through all of my videos and Photo's I will post them up... I ended up doing over 500 miles on the track that weekend....

last session on sunday, maybe only 14 cars left? I lined up at the back of the grid and had a good laugh as we rolled out,
panoz, gt3, gt3, steven's 993, gt3, gt3, gt3...

Yeah, GT3's were a dime-a-dozen that day - most were not too hard to pass either.

My mobile made your car look black in the vid. I remember seeing your red car in the thick of the GT3s. After all you fast guys rolled out I had about 5 miles of track all to myself.

Sorry I missed talking to you. I wasn't feeling well all weekend so skipped the social and spent most of my out-of-car time sleeping.
