993 ignition switch removal problem
Hi,
I trying to rule out an issue I have on my 993 and I have replaced the coil packs and now I'm stuck at the ignition switch as it's proving a real problem to remove.
I can get the bottom screw out without any issue other than being upside-down in the footwell!!! But how on earth do you get at the top screw as it's right upagaist the firewall.
I have tried small screw drivers, knuckle adapters, a raft of extensions but I just can't get on the head of the screw, I get close but it just slips up at the last millimetre. I know as I have a small snake camera which was very useful to be able to show a friend who was as assisting
Any help or words of wisdom would be very much appreciated

I did this last year, and I had to take the seat out to get upside down well enough to get to everything. The top screw was a little difficult to get to, but I used a short stubby driver and it went on with no problem in the end. I remember taking a couple of items off to clear a little more room up there.

Guys I think we are talking about 2 different ignition parts,
Geo, I started looking in this area as I read a previous post of yours where you did a major service and had alot of trouble between injectors and the ignition part under the seat. That's the bit I missed as I have the same power supply issue you had at the coils but I incorrectly went off and got the ignition switch (for the dash) now after reading your post in your last comment i see I should be looking under the seat ahhhhhhhhh
What's the Porsche part number of the module under the seat so I can order one?
Oh I have a right hand drive car, living in Europe,
