Hmmn, interesting. I guess the seller could raise it to $200k and then wait until the last day and drop it to just above the current high-bid.

I'm always amazed that people bid so early on eBay. I only ever bid within the last 5 seconds of an auction.

Beats me too, especially in a no reserve auction. Its easy to check the reserve price. Just bid a ridiculous figure see what number appears and then cancel it.

Well at close to $100K, I'd either take a pristine 993TT, or pony up a few dollars more and get a 993TTS over this car.

It'll take a 'special' buyer to spend over $100K for this car, and at that price one is paying over $30K just for the color.

I wonder what'll happen if the reserve isn't met?

And paying $30K (or likely higher) for the color just does not make sense (to me). That blue is used by other car manufacturers (Nissan 370Z). But some people will pay crazy dollars to have something unique.

I think this one ( 993TTS ) is a better museum piece and it even has lower mileage and lower production number. Do not get me wrong I like RB I had one but this is a way better 993 buy IMHO

Asking price $199k

Not sure what a 200k car has to do with one at 97k, but I guess we should start listing 4.0's and Scuderia's is something to buy instead even though they are over double the price.

Anyway, for those of you that wanted to know the reserve is met in $2900.00 so the car is absolutely selling. It's crazy the different types of people that are calling about this car, collectors, dealers, enthusiasts, people out of the country that I can barely understand, one guy says has eight porsche's in this color.

Seeing the interest if you guys were in my shoes would you do a , BUY IT NOW or let it run it's course? Im leaning toward the latter, but every single phone car and email I have received asks the same question, how much to end the auction now? So would you do it and if so what would you list it at? OF course umbiased replies please.

You may short sheet yourself with a Buy It Now. Who knows how high this will go!

BTW, Eight Porsches in this color? Man, I would love to see that garage!!!

You should sells yours. You already have the red turbo which is awesome and you can replace the cab with a GT3RS! Best of both worlds. I asked the guy with the eight car riviera-mexico garage for pictures. If he gets them to me I will post right away.

Im going to take your advice, and when I get off vacation I'm going to ride the wake of yours and see what happens. A orange or green GT3RS would be amazing.

Yes, tell him you would considerselling to him if he sends picks.
