I'm seriously considering selling or trading my GT3 for a C2S or Turbo 993.

Here is my rational. I have a dedicated race car now and really find myself spending all my track time with it Racing rather than doing instructing @ DE's w/ the GT3. Since I bought the M3 the GT3 (which is heavily track prepped) has seen less attention and more street use. For the street it is a riot and a bit obnoxious. But my wife can't drive it and prefers not to ride in it. Instead I'd like to get something w/ a back seat so I can take the kids, etc.. Therefore I'm thinking of looking at selling or trading for a nice 993 example. S or Turbo Only.. + $$ (Unless Turbo) My GT3 is worth just north of $60K

As a car there is NOTHING better in performance than a GT3 and this one is hands down the best 6GT3 in the country... Too many options to list...

I'm on the fence but I've always had great experiences dealing w/ R-List group both buying and selling.. Therefore I'm willing to talk to anyone thinking of going to the next level and it being a win-win.

Correct. Thanks. IIRC, Jasonfreed (spelling?) had a Lapis Blue GT3. Not sure on the year. He sold it about 1 year ago. He misses it too.

If I had a 993TT that I was trying to track, I would trade it in a heartbeat... I set this car up very well and dave has taken it to the next level with motons (replaced my KWs)... it flies. I now have a very track oriented 997.1RS and still think of this 996-3 all the time :-)

I have too much into the RS to make a quick sale and revert back but I am considering buying dave's car if he decideds to sell it -- of course, I have counseled him against selling it but I get it... this car is a little raw for a street car and since he is mostly using the race car it makes sense...

Dave, I don't mean to call you out in public, but dammit, I have the right of first refusal on that car and you haven't called, said "boo", "kiss my ***", nothin'. So the way I see it, you're trying to sell my car behind my back, and I don't like it one f*&&^%' bit. Not one bit. If you want a family truckster, a 993, 550i, or you want to justify a smokin' hot M3 carbon roof, lightweight, SS brakelines, Pagid yellows, no Mdrive in Space Gray w/ blacked out chrome and less than 40k as a trade for your itch to have a fast family transporter in between races, then get back to where we agreed. That blue GT3 is MY car when you're ready to move on. Stop teasing all the Rennlisters and keep your word. Jenk promised me his crashed 997 GT3 and ended up selling it to some cat out west somewhere. I let him slide on that, but you, my friend, get no hall pass. That is MY damn car. The rest of you keep your mitts off.

^^^. Tucker. Based on the time & content of the post and the fact I know you so well my guess is you had already crawled inside a bottle of whiskey. You are right on with your post besides the fact that you have first right of refusal. PJ former owner gets first right. Then you, and about 5 other ppl.

Regardless PJ smacked some sense into me along w/ your WTF are you doing VM. I'm just going to neuter her slightly (noise) and enjoy it!
