"Porsche Day @ Beatnik's" drive and lunch
Summer in the Greater Vancouver region seemed to be passing us by with cool temperatures and many wet days (far more than usual) until fairly recently. The last few weeks have been absolutely stunning with warm but not HOT temps and no rain.
Several friends decided to put together a short drive followed by a lunch at Beatnik's Bistro in Fort Langley. A Porsche/German theme was put on by Beatnik's owner Matt. We had a nice drive in the morning (Thanks Al S for coming up with a route!) and arrived for lunch around 11am.
A few of us got a little carried away resulting in 3 cars "staying overnight" while the owners continued on like they (yes, me included)were 20. A big thanks to John M's wife Michelle for driving this rowdy group home!
Might even try this next year, we'll see.
