wow!
I guess the signs were there but I didn't know you were so close to the decision.
Congrats on the supportive wife

Good luck with the search Mike!

993TT all the way! Resale value, all wheel drive for those nasty conditions we have sometimes up here in the frozen tundra and you cant beat the shape and looks of a TT.
I know I'm a bad influence

Congrats Mike! All this change recently, wow.

I know of two local 993 Turbos that aren't advertised but are available. Unfortunately , given you don't want these colours, one is black/black (with factory sport seats, some well-done engine mods, PSS9s and a STACK of receipts and ~90K KM), the other is Polar Silver/black sport seats (stock save for Euro ride height, ~70K KM).

Send me a PM Tim, I can be bent with the right kind of leverage! Worse case, it might setup some more references. There can be some real advantages of buying in Canada right now.

Cheers,

Mike

I thought it's a sticky on top of a 993 forum that Mike J is to own a 993 at all times no matter what? No?

First Robin, now Mike. Damn deserters, the lot of you. Come back, y'hear?

More seriously, Mike, you've been a tremendous asset to this 993 community. I very much hope you'll stay in the family. If something reasonable comes up locally we'll let you know. I might even be willing to drive it to BC

Hey, I am not leaving for now ... just moving inside the family. Sort of like swapping wives....lol!

A 993 Turbo is still a 993... it has a lot of common issues, and I will still be on this board to help out.

Cheers,

Mike

Even though Mike's moving up into a 993TT, he's not going to completely abandon us NA 993 owners! Good luck with the search!

Sorry to see you sell your targa, Mike. You've been an absolute DIY animal with it, especially the roof job. Good luck in your search and stick around us plebeian NA folks.

Here's a fine example of a TT in my neck of the woods... Prestige Porsche in Montreal

Yup, saw that one - he is asking a pretty penny but I think it might be worth looking anyways. Have you seen the car in person? It looks like Polar Silver - did not want to go Black or Silver, but if the car is right..... :-)

Looks like SUV suspension, do not like Techart wheels, luckily I have my RUF's ready to go! :-)

Hmm, I sent them an email, the phone back in about 30 seconds...not sure what that tells me. The car is pretty well a stock turbo with a fabspeed exhaust, apparently immaculate condition, no accidents, (however would not take his word on it), the Techart wheels are off the car and the twists are back on, stock suspension. Originally a US car. I think he is aiming a bit high on the price, so I need to think about it.

Cheers,

Mike
