Suspension install this weekend.
Attempting my first big mod! Installing PSS10's thanks to the FD boys.
Looking for anyone in and around the Lehigh Valley, PA area that wouldn't mind lending me a hand. I think I have all the tools necessary according to the "Suspension install for dummies". No air tools, however we may get by with just beer muscles.
Should be interesting.

I'm going to do some prep work this week before Saturday, the brake line dremel cuts. I will start early Saturday any help you could provide would be great. Also, I need to go to Shangy's and get a case or two. Is this a two case job or one?
I also need to find out the 'how to' for adjusting the ride height on the bilsteins before I install them. What points am I measuring on the new struts for ROW height?

Good luck! Do the fronts first, they are easy, the back takes all the work & time.
If you can, get all the little plastic pieces for the struts that hold the wires. It's not worth the time involved to remove them form the old struts.

I don't have a 993 anymore but when I did, I changed out my shocks by myself.
Take a look in your engine compartment and you will see all the stuff that needs to come out. This will take way more time than cutting the brake line cuts.
Make sure you have a coil spring compressor. You also will really need the Hazet or open sided sockets. It is possible to do with out these but it is a real PITA. Make sure you also have a long bar to get leverage when undoing the lower 18mm bolt from the shock/spring assy. Mine was a real bear. Also, most torque wrenches don't go to 147 ft/lbs so check yours. Plan on getting and alignment right away. Have fun!!

Front is not always easier. I spend 4 extra hours up there due to one bolt...
Hazet doesn't make that tool anymore, Matra does. You can probably get by with a spark plug socket or O2 socket. Good luck and have fun!

If not, then, TA12 is spot on.

Thanks for the advice. How do I adjust the pss10s for the correct ROW height before mounting them? Where do I take the ballpark measurement so it is adjusted properly before install?
I have the O2 sensor socket and it looks like it should do the job.
Look what just arrived.
Spanners-check. L/R Fronts - check, L/R Rears and drop links - Check.
Wish my 993 was this beautiful blue color.
